Sightseeing

There’s so much to see and do

As one of Canada’s most walkable cities, Victoria’s many sights can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace on foot. Some are more easily accessed by bus, boat or horse drawn carriage.  We’ve captured a few popular tours below; look for exclusive discounts and offerings in our VIP Program.

For a more complete listing of tours, please visit Tourism Victoria.

City tours

Victoria is just waiting to be discovered! You may want to have the benefit of a guide on a Horse Drawn Carriage, or tours of the Parliament Building, Government House or a Marine Tour.  Other areas like Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Dallas Road are a pleasure to explore on your own.

Bus tours

Whether you choose to ‘hop on and hop off’, experience an open-top double-decker bus, or settle in for a luxury tour of Victoria and its surrounding sights, there are several bus companies to help you make the most of your available time.  Two popular tours are the City Tour and the Butchart Gardens Tour.

National Historic Sites

Victoria’s 150 years has produced some beautiful historic landmarks that are well worth the visit.  Included in these are the following special treasures, each of which is a National Historic Site:  Emily Carr House, St. Ann’s Academy, Hatley Castle and Hatley Memorial Gardens, Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse and Point Ellice House.
