I had the pleasure of chairing the 2012 Rotary District 5020 conference and very early in the planning process we decided to hold the event at the Victoria Conference Centre. We chose the VCC because we knew they could accommodate the number of delegates we expected, the Conference Centre has an excellent reputation in Victoria and it is located precisely where our delegates want to be.
From the beginning the VCC staff were friendly, welcoming and professional, making our job easy. They accurately assessed our need for space with no “upselling” at all and we really appreciated their assistance in helping us plan our conference. Our audio-visual and other technical needs were taken care of smoothly and everyone made it all look easy. The food provided by the Empress was great and the service was excellent and unobtrusive.
Many of our delegates from outside Victoria said “Of course, the Victoria Conference centre is a first class facility” and it was clear to us that the VCC management encourage a culture of competency and service excellence. I was proud of our conference and the VCC made us look good. Thank you!
